Repeat text or questions
This lesson will teach you how to allow the user to repeat text and related questions multiple times.

Introduction

Repeats lets the end-user trigger a repetition of specific questions and headlines and the relevant parts of the downloaded document will repeat a corresponding number of times.

Create a repeat

  1. Select Add repeat via the drop down menu next to Add question.
  2. Configure the repeat via a 3-step configuration:

- Define which questions form part of the repeat.
- Add numbering of repeated items (if relevant).
- Define how repeats are triggered.

Define which questions should repeat

  1. Select questions and/or headlines which should be included in the repeat.
  2. Click Next.

You can include both questions that are listed together or questions that are listed different places in the questionnaire, if this will provide the appropriate user experiance.

Numbering of repeated items

To guide the end-user on the relation between specific questions and repeats, it is advisable to append a number next to either headline or questions.

To do so, select the headline and/or question and select Next.

Define how repeats are triggered by the end-user

Repeats can be triggered by the end-user either by

  1. an initial question on how many times the relevant questions should be repeated

    OR

  2. adding another repeat one at a time.

        OR

    c. add one at a time by adding a row in a table. You then select which questions should be included in each row in the table.

Note that you have to include questions in a sequence that starts in the beginning of the repeat and that sub-repeats and headlines or questions below those in the repeat cannot be included in the table.
