Moving a document to a sandbox for updates
This lesson will show you how to update an automated template in a sandbox environment and afterward release the updated template.
Introduction
It is advisable to carry out comprehensive maintenance work in a sandbox environment where modifications and testing can be carried out while leaving the original template available until the updated template is ready.
Copy template to sandbox
- Open the File Manager.
- Select the original template which is to be maintained.
- Select Copy.
- Choose destination (select existing sandbox folder or create a new by selecting New Folder).
- Select Copy here.
- From the sandbox folder download the template which you want to maintain.
Release updated template
When the maintenance work is completed replace the original template.
- Select the template in the sandbox folder.
- Select Copy & Replace.
- Find and select the original template.
- Select Replace.
